I was really thinking that today would be the day I would have this baby. I was fully expecting to go to the doctor's office and they would say, "Looks like you're ready! Let's head over to the hospital!" But that is not what happened. :( BOO!
This morning, I was all ready, the house is cleaned, dishes are done, the laundry is washed, folded and put away, I'm all packed for the hospital, everything is ready to go. And that is probably why I'm still stuck at 2cm! 2CM!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?! I figured I would have at least progressed a little bit! ARGH!
So, now I go in on Thursday, my due date, and they want to do an NST, or Non-Stress Test. This test measures the baby's heart rate and my contractions. Basically, they are wanting to make sure that the baby is still happy in there and that he is healthy and not in danger.
They are also going to do an ultrasound to measure how big he is getting. They are worried about size because if he gets too big it will add extra risk to an already dangerous situation with the VBAC.
So, that is what is happening with the baby and me. I'm thinking long walks are a must these next few nights.

Looks like he might be listening better to Grandma than Great-Grandma.
I am sorry he didn't come on Tuesday but am glad he finally made his appearance on Saturday!!! I hope everything went well and I hope you were able to do a successful VBACK.
