The Big Chair
Joslyn loves the arm chair in our house. She can be found there quite often reading or just hanging out. She doesn't use it traditionally though.
First she flips the seat cushion up and sits on the hard part of the chair. She collects her books and her bear(pronounced bay-er). When she is done reading she lays down and pulls the cushion down like its a blanket. She is so funny sometimes.

A Lunch Date at Westgate
Near our house is a shopping/entertainment complex called Westgate. Patrick and I decided to go there for lunch on one of his days off work. First we ate lunch at Yardhouse and then we went to show Joss the fountains. She loved them, what kids doesn't love water? She screamed almost the entire way home when we left. It was really nice to do something as a family. We haven't had a lot of time lately with Patrick's school load, the time he spends at home is often spent studying or running errands. It was really nice to have this time together. I can't wait for the semester break so we can have more times like this.
Seth's Garden Stone
My mom makes cement stones with each of her grandkid's foot/hand print. She keeps them in her garden. It's a fun little tradition. Well the other week, we did Seth's stone. Here is a picture of it.
My brother was helping us with the stone and pulled out all the letters for his name and the year and put them in place so all we had to do was push them in. It was until after I pulled them out that we saw that the E in Seth's name was backward and read S3TH. Luckily, we were able to smooth it out and re-do it. We were worried that someone would think he was some crazy sci-fi character.

Halloween 2010
For Halloween this year my family had a big party. We all got together dressed in costume and played games like wrap the mummy, a doughnut bobbing contest and a cupcake walk. We had a lot of fun. So much fun that I never grabbed my camera to take pictures of it. :( Oh well. Patrick did take a few pictures with his phone though.
Here is Joss. Trick-or-treating door to door down my parents hallway.
Here are the kids all dressed up in their costumes
And here is my mother dressed up as a dancing hippo from Fantasia. She had the kids rolling around in laughter and herself in tears. It was great!
The Saturday before Halloween our ward had a big carnival and chili cook-off at the church. It was a lot of fun. Again very few pictures. Story of my life these days.
Here is Joss and me. I'm a 50's girl and Joss is the cutest black cat that there ever was. Especially when she would wear her ears.
Here is Joss enjoying her cupcake from the cupcake walk. It was also the only thing that she would eat that night. She is a little stinker when it comes to eating these days.
here is Seth in the top half of his bear costume. It was too hot to put him in the full thing. Which is a shame because he was adorable in it.
For Halloween day, since it was Sunday we opted to not go trick-or-treating in order to observe the Sabbath. We did however dress up a little bit for church. I made Joslyn a candy-corn inspired dress and a matching onesie for Seth. This was the best picture of the three of us. Joslyn did not want to cooperate that morning.

Seth- Two months
Okay, so this post is about a month past due. I'm really starting to slack here. I'm really going to try to be better. I promise.
Anyway, here are some pictures of Seth when he was two months. I just love how happy this little guy is. He is always smiling, sometimes even when he is crying. He loves to have his hands in front of his face. He is our little boxer. Always taking jabs at people. He also loves to hold onto my hair and not let go. He always has his fists full of hair.
