Seth started smiling about a month or so ago. I'm a little behind on my blogging these days. Anyway, Seth is the smiliest baby. He smiles all the time. I can't tell you how many times he has choked on his bottle because he just starts smiling in the middle of it. So different from his sister Joss. It took something seriously funny for her to smile. She is a lot better these days, but boy was she ever a somber baby.
Well, anyway, here is a short video of him smiling.

We Did It!
Joss LOVES Dora the Explorer! She loves the song at the end of every episode that says, "We did it! We did it! We did it! Yay!" They even dance to it. Joss has picked up the dance and now she will dance along too. Every now and then I catch her dancing and singing the song by herself. And of course anytime Patrick or I say anything similar to the phrase we did it, she starts dancing and singing the song. I just love how her little personality is coming out more and how much she is learning. Such a great age that she has hit. :)
New Skirt
A while back I posted about how I made Joss a new skirt, but it was too big for her to wear. Well, she finally fits into it, mostly. It's still a tad big in the waist and a lot long, but nothing a turn of the waistband can't fix.
We didn't have time to take pictures of her before church so we tried to do them really quick after. Unfortunately, I had told her that she could have a piece of my chocolate cupcake before trying to take her picture.
See not a happy camper.
It's amazing what a little chocolate can do for your mood. :)
I'm pretty happy with the results. I thought she looked very cute in her new skirt.

Diapers, Diapers Everywhere...
...but not a one to wear!
Joss found the un-open packages of diapers that we have been storing in her closet and decided to open it and pull them all out. Then she took off her diaper and tried to re-diaper herself.Lately, we can't seem to keep her diaper on her bottom. It is very frustrating, but its one of those stages that almost every child goes through.

Seth's Blessing
Seth was blessed on September 26th. We were glad to be able to have it done that week since my sister and brother-in-law were in town visiting before they left for a three year stint in Hawaii while Mike is serving in the Air Force. It also happened to be our wards' Primary Program, so it was extra special since 4 of my nieces and nephews were participating in it! It was also nice for Patrick to have a little extra help with the two kids since I was up playing the piano for the program. :)
Patrick gave a beautiful blessing to our little Seth. He blessed him to be healthy, to make wise choices, to be successful in life, to learn to use the priesthood correctly, to listen to his church leaders and teachers. He blessed him to be married in the temple, to serve a worthy mission and to be an honorable man. It was a wonderful blessing from a loving father. I am so grateful to have a husband that is worthy to hold the priesthood and give our children such beautiful blessings.
Here is a picture of Seth in his special blessing outfit. He looks so handsome.
Here is Joslyn and Seth together.
And a picture of Joss holding Seth. So sweet. Can't you just see the love?
